German Human Genome-Phenome Archive

PhD student of the department of Early Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology at the University of Tübingen, Advanced Computer Science MSc graduate from Swansea University.

Currently working on computer models for early hominin lithic production as part of the ERC STONECULT project for the study of the latent solutions model. My research seeks to address questions of hominin cultural evolution by applying computational methods such as machine learning to the study of early stone tool manufacture. Part of the Tools and Culture Among Early Hominins workgroup of the University of Tübingen, led by Dr Claudio Tennie.

Whilst my main PhD work is focused on early prehistory, I also have a deep interest in the history and archaeology of the first and second millennium BCE.
